Our Styled Shoot Adventure
When my friend Viki suggested we do a styled shoot inspired by the hit series Peaky Blinders, I was thrilled. The idea of capturing the show’s bold and vintage vibes in a photoshoot sounded like a dream! We got straight to planning and brought together an amazing team of creatives to make it happen.
The Planning Begins
I took charge of photography and booking the venue, while Viki organized the models, makeup, and hair. The wardrobe was key to the look: Immagika Creative Designs provided the fabulous outfits for the ladies, while the gentlemen’s wardrobe came from Hollywood Costumes.
The Big Day
We started early at Deon Dú-Mànt’s salon in Pretoria, where the hair and makeup magic happened.
The Fox Event Venue, was the perfect backdrop for the shoot. Its vintage charm matched our theme perfectly, making every shot look like it was straight out of the show.
Everyone arrived on time, buzzing with excitement. The models got dressed, and the transformation began. The energy was electric with plenty of laughter and fun as we worked to bring the 1920s-inspired looks to life.
Was It a Success?
Well, you’ll have to be the judge of that! I’m absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. From the outfits to the venue and the amazing team, everything came together beautifully.
