Approximately three years ago, I conducted a studio photography training session in Secunda with one of my students. During the session, she arranged for her friend, Lizani Visser, a stunning fitness model, to pose for us. Lizani displayed a high level of professionalism, and her posing skills were outstanding.
I immediately became interested in photographing her in my studio. Fortunately, she agreed to come to Alberton for the shoot. Gavin from Vista del Monte joined us as our hair stylist for the session. We didn’t focus on fitness and the shoot took on a fashion and portfolio vibe.
Lizani tried on various outfits, and for the majority of the shoot, we utilized a clean white backdrop to maintain simplicity and emphasize her beauty and posing. I am extremely pleased with the results, but I am also aware that I can always improve in the future. This is a perpetual struggle for me, as I find that my best shoots are always the upcoming ones. Ha ha!
