As I delved into my computer’s photo archives, I stumbled upon a long-forgotten photoshoot from the year 2018. This reignited the memories of a truly extraordinary experience.
Shawn Odendaal Armani, the manager of Paul James Male in New Redruth, left no stone unturned in his preparations for an upcoming National male hairstyling competition. With the competition just around the corner, Shawn meticulously organized every aspect of the photo shoot to showcase his team’s talent. To ensure a diverse range of looks, he booked seven male models who were ready to transform their hair into stunning styles. In the week leading up to the shoot, Shawn applied and finalized hair colouring techniques, ensuring each model had a vibrant and unique appearance. On the day of the shoot, the talented Thalia Choo Makeup artist stepped in to enhance the models’ features with her expert makeup skills. Shawn took charge of the final haircut and styling, as well as overseeing the overall wardrobe and directing the shoot. Meanwhile, Deon, the studio specialist, meticulously set up the perfect lighting and photography equipment to capture the models in their best light. Despite the pressure, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, as everyone worked harmoniously to achieve their collective vision. The results of their efforts were simply outstanding, as the photographs beautifully showcased the artistry and creativity of Shawn Odendaal Armani and his team at Paul James Male.
