About 3 years ago I did a shoot for Thomas Thomson Haute Couture. Thomas arranged the models. Adele van Niekerk was responsible for hair and Celeste Schoeman for makeup.
The shoot took place at The Royal Elephant Hotel. It was a fun shoot with Thomas’s creations so easy to photograph. The dresses fit like a glove and when the models move, there is such a beautiful flow in the gowns.
On the day, we didn’t know that one of the beautiful models was going to be a future Miss South Africa! The beautiful Lalela Mswane was crowned Miss South Africa 2021 and she represented South Africa at Miss Universe 2021, placing second runner-up. She was also crowned Miss Supranational 2022.
